Using Pacesetter’s Redline Pulse MWD and NBI motor, Aspenleaf successfully drilled their longest Nisku well in the Leduc-Woodbend field to date reaching TD at 6,700m MD. The collaboration between Aspenleaf’s Drilling and Geology groups along with Pacesetter’s Well Planning and Optimization groups made this an efficient well, meeting the goal of a single run lateral.
Congratulations to Aspenleaf Energy Limited and the rig crews of Savanna 638 on this impressive achievement. Thank you to Pacesetter DD Supervisors Jason Puddester, Dan Canavan & Joel Migowsky, and MWD Supervisor Taras Mykhaylyak.
